1. Introduction

Welcome to Call Zim. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Call Zim mobile application ("App") and website located at www.callzim.co.uk ("Website"), and the international calling services provided therein (collectively, the "Services").

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Sikho Solutions trading as Call Zim ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in the United Kingdom.

By downloading the App, creating an account, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services.

2. The Services

2.1. Nature of Service: Call Zim provides Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calling services, specifically designed to facilitate calls from the United Kingdom to Zimbabwe.

2.2. Internet Connection Required: The Service requires an active internet connection (Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, or 5G). You are solely responsible for any data charges or internet fees incurred from your mobile network provider while using the App.

2.3. Emergency Calls (Important Notice)

The Call Zim App is NOT a replacement for your primary telephone service. The Service does not support or carry emergency calls to any type of emergency services (e.g., 999, 112, or 911). You must make alternative arrangements to access emergency services. We are not liable for any inability to contact emergency services via the App.

3. Eligibility and User Accounts

3.1. Eligibility: You warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3.2. Account Registration: You may be required to register using your mobile phone number. You agree to provide accurate and current information.

3.3. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Rates, Payments, and Credits

4.1. Call Rates: Calls are charged on a per-minute basis. Rates are available within the App and on our Website. We reserve the right to change rates at any time without prior notice.

4.2. Prepaid Credits: The Service operates on a prepaid basis. Credit can be purchased via Credit Card, Debit Card, or App Store In-App Purchases. Credit has no cash value and is non-transferable.

4.3. Expiration: If your account remains inactive for a period of 180 days, any remaining Credit may expire and be removed.

5. Refund Policy

5.1. General Refunds: Except as required by law, all purchases of Credit are final and non-refundable.

5.2. Cooling-off Period (UK Users): Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you generally have a right to cancel a digital purchase within 14 days. However, by purchasing Credit and using it to make a call immediately, you acknowledge that the service has commenced and you waive your right to a refund for the portion used.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. Prohibited activities include:

  • Fraudulent or illegal activities.
  • Reselling the Service without written consent.
  • Transmitting spam, robocalls, or unsolicited marketing.
  • Attempting to reverse engineer the App.

8. Limitation of Liability

We cannot guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. VoIP quality is dependent on your internet connection and network conditions in Zimbabwe.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the six (6) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
